如何在雅思阅读中背单词(转载)
根据以上三个问题，再加上时间比较紧，我给学生制定了一份特殊的学习计划：在阅读文章中记忆单词，阅读材料就是剑桥雅思4，利用文章中有效的词汇，短语，句型的使用来总结高频低频词汇。这样既节省了时间，也让学生掌握了单词再雅思考试中的准确用法。
通过近一个月的教学和学生的上课表现及课下作业反馈，效果还不错，现辛达把针对雅思阅读的具体操作步骤分享给大家。
例如剑桥4第一篇文章“消失的热带雨林”，文章读起来不是很轻松，因为长句子过多，生词也比较多。
我让学生先看文章第一句推测文章讲述的内容是什么，Adults and children are frequently confronted withstatements about the alarming rate of loss of tropical rainforest. 学生会问我confront是什么意思，我就直接告诉他在记忆这个单词的时候不妨直接记忆 be confronted with这个短语，“面对着--”的意思，并且让他造句。
同样还是这句话我要求同学找出句子的主干，告诉他可以大胆地去掉介词短语和从句等修饰成分。所以学生就找出来最简练的主干成分Adults andchildren are confronted with statements.
学生通过自己动手动脑就可以推断出来这篇文章是关于什么的了，同时对于陌生词汇也掌握了它的用法。
紧接着文章里出现了好几句长难句，例如：For example， one graphic illustration to which childrenmight readily relate is the estimate that rainforest are being destroyed at arate equivalent to one thousand football fields every forty minutes-about theduration of a normal classroom period.这句话比较长，学生读完之后没有任何头绪。我跟学生说可以利用自己的语感试着把句子划分意群，学生第一次尝试划分意群的时候不太理想，还是没有能够把句意理顺。我指导他找出从句来，并且同时找出介词短语的成分。这次学生比较准确地划分来出来，但是翻译的时候还是不太好。具体的划分如下：Forexample/， one graphic illustration to which children might readily relate is theestimate/ that rainforest are being destroyed at a rate /equivalent to onethousand football fields every forty minutes-about the duration of a normalclassroom period.还可以再次细分：For example/， one graphic illustration/ to whichchildren might readily relate /is the estimate/ that rainforest are beingdestroyed/ at a rate /equivalent to one thousand football fields /every fortyminutes-about the duration of a normal classroomperiod.这样就非常清晰了，只需要提出其中的难词就可以化整为零，各个击破了。
